Our Site Superintendents and Foremen have been with the company for decades, ably managing the staff on site to ensure a smooth progression of the project. Bart Elmer has been in the construction business for over 35 years and has been a sole owner or partner for over 31 years. He has been the general contractor for construction contracts totaling over 95 million dollars, which include a wide range of commercial projects, banking institutions, recreation facilities, restaurants, historic restorations, seismic retrofits senior housing renovations, private schools, custom homes and remodels. He received an M.C.P. in City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley (1974) and a B.A. in Physics from Eastern Michigan University (1969). David Bartke is a licensed General Contractor and has been with W.B. Elmer & Company for over 32 years.
